# Piazon linked with Ligue 1 loan switch

Newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Reims are being linked with a loan move for Chelsea’s Lucas Piazon.

[L’Équipe, as cited on Get French Football News](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2018/reims-have-registered-an-interest-in-chelsea-winger-lucas-piazon/), claims that Reims are interested in the Brazilian, who could still leave the club before the end of the month.

Reims have made an impressive start to life in Ligue 1 and want to strengthen before the end of the window.

Piazon is yet to leave Chelsea this year after several loan spells away from the club.

[Milan had been linked](https://readchelsea.com/2018/08/13/ac-milan-reportedly-keen-to-sign-lucas-piazon/) with the player, but Maurizio Sarri wanted to take some time to fully evaluate the squad he has at his disposal.

The 24-year-old has not played for the club since December 2012, when he featured in an 8-0 demolition of Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Piazon has since had loan spells with Malaga, Vitesse, Frankfurt, Reading and most recently Fulham.
