# Sarri delivers positive update on Pedro’s injury

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has delivered a positive update on the condition of Pedro Rodriguez.

The Spanish winger was forced to come off in the closing stages of Chelsea’s Europa League fixture against PAOK on Thursday evening following a collision with goalkeeper Alexandros Paschalakis.

Pedro appeared to be clutching his arm in some discomfort following the challenge, with suspicions raised over a dislocated shoulder.

However, speaking after the match, Sarri allayed fears over the extent of Pedro’s injury. As quoted by [Chelsea’s Twitter account](https://twitter.com/ChelseaFC/status/1042855666489204736), the manager claimed that the problem is ‘probably not a very serious injury’.

The Blues were able to clinch a rather straightforward victory against their Greek counterparts as they came away from PAOK with a 1-0 win, courtesy of a well-worked move that was finished by Willian.

Chelsea will hope that Pedro is available for their upcoming Premier League fixture against West Ham as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
