# Sarri admits that Hazard is a doubt for Sunday

Maurizio Sarri has cast doubts over Eden Hazard’s fitness ahead of this weekend’s clash against Burnley.

[Speaking after Chelsea’s 3-1 win in the Europa League against BATE on Thursday night, as reported by The Sport Review](https://www.thesportreview.com/2018/10/chelsea-fc-news-sarri-hazard-burnley/), Sarri refused to confirm that the Belgian would be fit enough to play some part against the Sean Dyche’s side.

> He has a back problem. We are trying to solve the problem for Sunday \[but\] I think it is not very easy \[for him to recover in time\].

Chelsea travel to Burnley on Sunday afternoon, with the Blues returning to Premier League action.

Hazard missed the midweek game in Europe after complaining about a back injury.

The Belgian was suffering during the warm-up against Manchester United last weekend and the rough treatment he received from Jose Mourinho’s men would have done nothing to improve his situation.

Hazard has been a key figure for Sarri and Chelsea this season, cementing himself as the best player in the league.
