# Loftus-Cheek and Barkley make Crooks’ Team of the Week

Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have both been named in Garth Crooks’ Team of the Week.

[Writing for the BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46010598), Crooks explains why both of the Chelsea midfielders deserve a place in the side after impressing at Burnley.

Barkley started the game against Burnley and was at the heart of Chelsea’s midfield, scoring one and assisting another, helping the Blues on their way to a 4-0 victory.

Another eye-catching performance from the former Everton man sees his good form continue as he bids to nail down a regular starting spot at Chelsea.

Loftus-Cheek came off the bench to score in the latter stages of the game, rounding off what was an impressive display from Maurizio Sarri’s men.

Having caught the eye with a hat-trick in the Europa League during the week, Loftus-Cheek would have been delighted to get on the scoresheet in the Premier League.
