# Emerson delighted to be attracting interest from Chelsea and Arsenal

Brazilian defender Emerson is delighted to be drawing links to Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea.

[Speaking to O Tempo, as cited on Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/player-speaks-arsenal-chelsea-rumours-giving-fuel-reasonably-priced-transfer/), the Atlético Mineiro youngster revealed that the links will encourage him as he continues to try and improve.

> This is very gratifying for me, it only gives me more fuel to work harder. But regardless of that I’m still focused on Atletico, I don’t think about it now. My head is on the last three fixtures, I’m 100% focused on it.
