# Chelsea to miss out on target Zeneli to Stade de Reims

Reported Chelsea target Arber Zeneli is said to be close to signing for Ligue 1 outfit Stade de Reims, according to GFFN.

The 23-year old midfielder, who plays for Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie, is expected to sign for the French side within the next few days.

Last week, [MailOnline](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-6609045/Chelsea-scout-Arber-Zeneli-weekend-consider-5m-move.html) reported that Chelsea were considering sending scouts to watch Zeneli over potentially launching a £5million bid.

However the Kosovo international is close to agreeing personal terms with Stade de Reims, although it isn’t yet clear whether the move would be now, or on a pre-contract agreement ahead of a summer switch.
