# Short-term Sarri replacements amid sack rumours

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri appears to be once again on the brink of losing his job in London after a 2-0 defeat against Everton.

Following the defeat against the Merseyside outfit, there are [fresh reports](https://readchelsea.com/2019/03/18/sarri-could-be-sacked-during-international-break/) that the Italian could be out of a job during the international break.

On face value, this may be a smart move by Chelsea. It allows them time to bring in a short-term replacement and have some time with the players on the training ground, but will the Blues make their move?

In case they do, we’ve looked at some short-term replacements that could come step into the role until the end of the season.
