# Higuain will be at Chelsea next season, hints Sarri

Maurizio Sarri has hinted that he expects Gonzalo Higuain to be a Chelsea player next season.

The Blues drew 1-1 at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon – a result that leaves destiny in their own hands with regards to a top four finish.

Higuain led the line at Old Trafford, although his performance frustrated many supporters, with a constant knack for getting offside proving an issue.

It hasn’t been a wholly convincing spell at Chelsea from the Argentina since joining in January, with many predicting he will not be retained beyond the end of the season.

[Speaking](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48088000) after the draw with United, however, Sarri said the 31-year-old’s future may lie in west London:

> In theory, yes.

> It’s difficult to adapt to the Premier League. I think in the next season he will be able to score a lot.

Higuain has only scored four goals in 12 starts for the Blues, often looking like a player past his best.\

It may simply be a case of adjusting to the Premier League, however, with next season potentially seeing the striker hit top gear.
