# Chelsea “release” Sarri ahead of Juve move

Chelsea have agreed to release manager Maurizio Sarri from his contract so that he can become Juventus manager, according to a breaking [Sport Italia report.](https://www.football-italia.net/138772/report-chelsea-release-sarri)

There has been speculation over the Italian coach’s future at Stamford Bridge, despite the former Napoli man having won the Europa League this season, while also leading his side to a third place finish.

With Max Allegri having left Juventus this summer, speculation had linked Sarri with a move to Turin, with some reports earlier this season claiming Sarri was eyeing a return to the Serie A.

Now according to Sport Italia report, Chelsea have allowed the 60-year old to leave the club.

Although this report is currently unconfirmed, it does point to a major decision on Sarri’s future being made soon.
