# Chelsea target Luka Jovic closing in on Frankfurt exit

Chelsea transfer target Luka Jovic is edging closer towards an exit from Frankfurt this summer.

[According to German outlet Sport Bild](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-news-live-adrien-rabiot-16175768), Jovic has already emptied his locker at Frankfurt as he attempts to seal a move away from the club.

The report claims that Jovic has now gone on holiday and is expected to push for a move to Real Madrid when he returns, which will come as a blow to Chelsea.

Jovic enjoyed a sensational season with Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, as he found the back of the net 17 times, whilst also scoring 10 goals in the Europa League.

Chelsea have been [heavily linked](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1132800/Chelsea-transfer-news-Luka-Jovic-Real-Madrid) with a move for Jovic, but the club are unable to make any deals until they resolve their transfer ban.

FIFA hit Chelsea with a two-window ban earlier this year, although it remains unclear as to whether it will start this summer or in the winter window.
