# Redknapp tips Spurs to finish above Chelsea this season

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has given his top four predictions.

The race for a UEFA Champions League qualification spot is intensifying and Redknapp feels that his old club can make it under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.

As quoted on [Talksport](https://talksport.com/football/645747/tottenham-chelsea-top-four-harry-redknapp-london-derby/), Redknapp said:

> I’ve been saying from when Pochettino left and Mourinho came in, I just felt that with Tottenham’s squad they could go on a run and make the top-four.

> That group of players were massively underachieving, they went through a terrible spell, but I felt they could go on a run and make the top-four, and I still think they will.

> I can’t see them being out of the top four at the end of the season. At the moment they’ve got a squad there that I think is good enough to make the top-four.

The London rivals face each other in the Premier League this weekend in north London.

### READ CHELSEA VERDICT

After a few negative results, everyone has returned to doubting Chelsea again.

Frank Lampard’s men went on an incredible winning run recently and were dubbed as title challengers but all of a sudden, they’re now not seen as concrete top four candidates.

That’s the life of a Premier League team and being underestimated suits the Blues. The top four could be a step too far for Spurs this season.
