# Chelsea target Jacobo Ramon reveals ‘absolute certainty’ over future after Real Madrid return links

Jacobo Ramon has made his immediate priorities clear following reports linking the Chelsea target with a return to Real Madrid.

The Como defender says he is happy working under Cesc Fabregas and is concentrating on the season already underway.

His comments offer a direct insight into his thinking after [ReadChelsea examined his impressive Como form following Chelsea’s summer interest](https://readchelsea.com/2026/09/16/jacobo-ramon-chelsea-transfer-como-form/).

## Jacobo Ramon Chelsea links meet clear Como message

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in comments translated by [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/ramon-fabregas-improve-serie-a-como-mindset/), Ramon said: “I’ll only say one thing, which is an absolute certainty: I’m very happy at Como.”

He added that his attention remains on delivering a successful campaign rather than considering other destinations.

That gives Chelsea supporters a clearer picture of his current position. His remarks offer no indication that he is pushing to leave Fabregas’ side.

## Real Madrid’s reported €9m option adds another complication

[AS reported on Sunday](https://as.com/futbol/jacobo-ramon-lo-tiene-claro-f202609-n/) that Chelsea and Arsenal have followed Ramon closely, although neither club had taken the next step.

The Spanish newspaper also claimed Madrid could re-sign him for €9million after the current season, with the player’s willingness to return remaining important.

Those reports concern interest and a potential future route, rather than an agreed transfer.

For Chelsea, the key distinction is between admiring Ramon’s development and persuading him to leave a club where he feels settled.

His latest comments underline the importance of that second task. Any future approach would need to offer a convincing reason to move beyond the opportunity he already has at Como.
