# Chelsea’s Estêvão scores and assists as Brazil sign off with FOUR-goal victory over India

> **Key Blues Takeaways**
>
> - **Estêvão:** Scored the opener and supplied Brazil’s second goal.
> - **Brazil:** Finished their international programme with a 4-0 victory.
> - **Chelsea:** Bournemouth visit Stamford Bridge next Saturday.

Chelsea winger Estêvão delivered a goal and an assist as Brazil beat India 4-0 in Kolkata on Saturday.

The teenager opened the scoring after 28 minutes, cutting in from the right to finish with his left foot. [beIN Sports’ match coverage](https://www.beinsports.com/en-us/soccer/friendlies/articles/all-goals-india-vs-brazil-international-friendly-2026-10-03) details his strike and the pass which created Brazil’s second.

Estêvão then supplied Flamengo striker Pedro before half-time, with [Brazil’s official report](https://www.cbf.com.br/selecao-brasileira/noticias/jogos-selecao-masculina/a/brasil-goleia-a-india-em-em-calcuta) confirming Samuel Lino added two goals after the break.

## Estêvão sets out Chelsea focus

In [post-match comments reported by UOL](https://www.uol.com.br/esporte/futebol/ultimas-noticias/2026/10/03/estevao-comemora-minutos-na-selecao-enquanto-sofre-para-jogar-no-chelsea.ghtm), Estêvão welcomed the opportunity to build match rhythm and looked ahead to his club return.

Speaking in Portuguese, he said, translated into English:

> “When I return now, I’ll try to give my maximum at the club so I can be back here.”

His goal against India followed the frustration of [having a strike disallowed against Australia](https://readchelsea.com/2026/09/27/estevao-willian-chelsea-brazil-goal-disallowed/) earlier in the international window.

Estêvão now heads back to Chelsea with two direct goal contributions from Brazil’s final friendly.

The Blues’ [next Premier League fixture is against Bournemouth](https://readchelsea.com/2026/09/21/chelsea-next-five-fixtures-after-international-break/) at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, 10 October, with kick-off at 3pm BST.
