Justin Kluivert reportedly open to Chelsea transfer

Chelsea could do with adding some young talent to their attacking ranks in the summer with Olivier Giroud and Pedro both on the wrong side of 30, and the Blues could be a potential destination for Ajax starlet Justin Kluivert, according to the winger himself.

Son of former Barcelona star Patrick Kluivert, Justin came through the Ajax academy and is now a regular in the first-team, netting six goals and providing four assists in 19 Eredivisie games so far this season.

The 18-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Ajax in the near future and he’s revealed that the Premier League could be his next destination, as quoted by Goal.

England appeals to me: Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea or Manchester United are nice clubs where I can see myself playing in a few years.

Given his father’s ties to Barcelona, Kluivert has also discussed the possibility of joining the Catalan club, but has not ruled out their La Liga rivals Real Madrid either.

Everywhere I go abroad they know my father, he often asked: “Come to Barcelona, I’ll give a tour of Camp Nou”. I really wanted to go to Barcelona instead of Real Madrid. Barcelona is in my heart, but who am I to say no to Real Madrid?

Regarded as one of the most sought-after young players in Europe today, Justin Kluivert will likely be subject to considerable transfer interest in the summer, especially after sounding out Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid as potential destinations.
