Chelsea welcomed Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge for the club’s first London Derby of the season. The fan’s spirit was high following Pedro’s fantastic debut against West Brom as the Stamford Bridge faithful were eagerly hoping to see another victory.

Chelsea new boy Pedro found himself on the front page of the matchday programme alongside his Spanish team-mates.

The suspended John Terry was watching from the sidelines following his red card against West Brom. Kurt Zouma partnered Gary Cahill in the back four.

The first half was closely contested and finished 0-0.

Oh, Cahill is magic, he wears a magic mask..doesn’t catch on does it? Didn’t think so.

The game was Jose’s 100th game in the Premier League at SW6.

Diego Costa was clearly frustrated following a confrontation with Palace captain, Damien Delaney.

Oscar remained out of the side, meaning Willian kept his place in the side.

As expected, Palace threatened Chelsea from the wide areas.

Palace’s pressure paid off, the Eagles took the lead through Bakary Sako on the 65th minute.

Both Kenedy and Ruben Loftus-Cheek came on for Chelsea. In the 79th minute, The Blues equalised through Falcao!

Something to be excited about..but it didn’t last long. Just two minutes later, Palace restored their lead through Joel Ward.
The game finished 2-1 to Crystal Palace, Alan Pardew’s men join Sunderland as the only team to beat Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. A disappointing result, changes are surely needed.
