In a game that was dominated by the referee, Chelsea and West Brom shared the points after an eventful 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues’ goals coming from left-back Cesar Azpilicueta and an own goal from Gareth McAuley, either side of a Gary Gardner equaliser, before James McClean scored West Brom’s second.
The draw means that Chelsea have extended their unbeaten run under Guus Hiddink to six games in all competitions.
