Chelsea are in midweek action in the Premier League, with Manchester City the visitors to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Antonio Conte’s side suffered a shock defeat to London rivals Crystal Palace at the weekend, with a quickfire double from Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke enough to cut Chelsea’s lead at the top to seven points. Cesc Fabregas had given Chelsea the lead, but Sam Allardyce’s men turned the tie around to claim all three points.
Manchester City faced Arsenal at the weekend, with the two sides seeing out a 2-2 draw at the Emirates. Goals from Leroy Sane and Sergio Aguero were cancelled out by Arsenal’s Theo Walcott and Shkodran Mustafi.
The two clubs have already met this season, with Chelsea winning 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard were on the scoresheet in a very impressive victory over Man City.
Ahead of Wednesday’s fixture against Manchester City, we take a look at the threats Pep Guardiola’s side pose to Chelsea.
