Chelsea Predicted XI: Manchester City (A)

Chelsea’s 2018 slump continued last weekend they gave up a 1-0 lead away at Manchester United to lose 2-1 and that, coupled with Tottenham’s late winner away at Crystal Palace saw the Blues drop out of the Premier League’s top four with just 10 games to go.

In what is looking increasingly like a four-team race to secure the final three Champions League qualification spots, Chelsea find themselves at the back of the pack facing an uphill climb and things don’t get any easier this weekend.

Antonio Conte’s side travel back to Manchester this weekend to take on league leaders City, fresh off the back of two comprehensive 3-0 wins against Arsenal, one in the Carabao Cup final last Sunday and one in the Premier League last night.

David Luiz has already been ruled out this weekend while both Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko are doubtful with their respective muscular complaints. Here is our predicted XI.
