Chelsea Women continued their unbeaten Women’s Super League start with a 3-0 victory over West Ham at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Melvine Malard opened the scoring before Keira Walsh struck after 80 minutes and Maika Hamano added the third seven minutes later.
The victory takes Chelsea to four wins and one draw from their opening five league fixtures.
Bompastor’s changes deliver another victory
Hamano made her first start of the campaign, joining Sandy Baltimore as Bompastor’s two changes from Wednesday’s goalless Champions League draw against Lyon.
As detailed in our Chelsea Women confirmed line-up, Lexi Potter and Alyssa Thompson moved to the bench.
Hannah Hampton started after receiving treatment during the Lyon match, while Erin Cuthbert returned to the matchday squad following her recovery from injury.
Chelsea extend winning WSL run
Chelsea followed victories over Manchester United, Birmingham City and Arsenal in last weekend’s London derby with another three points.
Bompastor’s team arrived with five consecutive clean sheets across all competitions. That sequence now stretches to six.
Chelsea have conceded just once in their opening five WSL matches, combining another shutout with three goals to maintain their strong league start.
