A lot of eyes will be on Chelsea this summer and what they do in the summer transfer window. The expectation is for the club to improve. They need to, after finishing 10th in the league, without a trophy and not qualifying for any European competition. That is simply not acceptable at Stamford Bridge. But […]
This summer transfer window is going to be one of the most important in Chelsea’s history. They have pulled off a coup by appointing Xabi Alonso as manager. But now, it is about giving him the proper backing. Otherwise, it won’t take long for all the excitement to turn into unhappiness. There are a number […]
The Chelsea fanbase seems divided when it comes to the club’s need to bring in a new goalkeeper. Some believe that it is worth sticking with Robert Sanchez for the time being. He was brilliant in the first half of the season. Yes, he did lose his way for a few months and started making […]
Marc Cucurella is one of the players who has been linked with a move away from Chelsea in recent months. He is someone who openly spoke to the media about not agreeing with BlueCo’s transfer policy or the decision to part ways with Enzo Maresca. And with the left-back’s form fluctuating this season, it has […]
Enzo Maresca has not been officially announced as Manchester City manager yet, but it is only believed to be a matter of time. Of course, that has not gone down well with Chelsea fans. It is no secret that Chelsea need to add some experience and proven quality to their squad this summer. Those two traits have been overlooked over the four seasons under BlueCo. And it is safe to say that the Blues are not in a better position than they were before the takeover. Now, it remains […]
Chelsea could do with more goalscorers. There is no doubt about that. Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez were the only two reliable options in front of goal last season. Fans will be hoping for the return of Cole Palmer to form and Estevao to fitness. If Nicolas Jackson stays on, it could help as well. […]
In the four years under BlueCo, Chelsea have largely focused on signing young talents. The issue, potential does not always convert into performance on the pitch. The ownership should know that well by now. After all, despite spending close to two billion pounds, they have not been able to assemble a squad that even qualifies […]
Going into the summer transfer window, the message has been that Chelsea will look to sign proven and experienced players. That is definitely the right path to take as well. This young squad has a ton of talent. On their day, they can get the better of anyone, as we saw against PSG in the […]
It will be very interesting to see how Chelsea go about their summer transfer window. With Xabi Alonso expected to have a say on signings, the fans are hoping for a change in their policy. The BlueCo model has been given four years to work and has proven to be a failure. Now, it is […]
The Chelsea winger ranks could be about to undergo a shakeup this season. One could argue that it has been their biggest weakness. Estevao has shown flashes of quality but he has spent a lot of time out injured as well. Other than that, the Blues have not really had someone impression in that position. […]
It looks like the Chelsea squad could be headed for a shakeup this summer. Xabi Alonso is arriving to lead the project, and he appears to be doing so with his own set of ideas. To be honest, it might be time to change things up. The Blues finished this season in 10th in the […]
