Chelsea will need to change their transfer policy. If that is not clear to BlueCo by now, it will never be. They have spent two billion pounds building a squad that cannot even qualify for Europe. Let that sink in. In fact, it is remarkable that more pressure is not on the decision-makers. Whenever there […]
There is a lot that Chelsea need to be working on in this summer transfer window. They simply are not a great team at the moment. The first step is to recognise that. Somehow, after spending close to two billion pounds, BlueCo haven’t even been able to put together a squad that is capable of […]
West Ham United got relegated on the final day of the season. Their chances of staying up had been slim to begin with. And ultimately, it was not to be. Even though the Hammers won 3-0 against Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur’s win meant that they could not avoid the drop. That could be interesting for […]
Yesterday felt like the end of an era in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola stepped down as Manchester City manager. Mohamed Salah left Liverpool. And Chelsea fans will certainly be hoping for new beginnings after how things have turned out for them in the past four seasons, since the BlueCo takeover. They finished the season […]
Chelsea will have a lot on their plate this summer. The club will need to strengthen the squad significantly if Xabi Alonso is going to have any chance of succeeding in the Stamford Bridge job. But it won’t be straightforward. The Blues’ financial situation could create an issue. They have no Champions League football, a […]
It is believed that Chelsea will be looking to strengthen their centre-back ranks this summer. Before the Xabi Alonso appointment was finalised, some outlets claimed that the Spaniard had requested the signing of two new centre-backs this summer. On the other hand, the future of players like Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh […]
This is going to be the most important summer transfer window for Chelsea since the BlueCo takeover. BlueCo have made numerous mistakes and might finally be starting to recognise them. The decision to appoint Xabi Alonso points in that direction. In the past, they would have probably steered away from it and brought in someone […]
It was a day of endings in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola left Manchester City after a decade, alongside Bernardo Silva and John Stones. Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson brought an end to their Liverpool careers as well. And Chelsea fans will also be hoping that this spell the end of their period of disappointments […]
It is safe to say that we might have seen the last of a lot of these players in a Chelsea shirt today. Xabi Alonso is set to arrive as the new manager this summer. And it is hard to imagine that he will be thrilled with what he saw on the final matchday of […]
It was the final matchday of the Premier League season and Chelsea put in one last poor performance to cap off what has been another nightmare campaign for the Blues. Now, they have failed to qualify for the Champions League in three out of the four seasons under BlueCo ownership. In fact, they won’t be […]
It was the conclusion to contrasting seasons at the Stadium of Light. Sunderland came up from the Championship and secured Europa League football. On the other hand, less than a year after winning the Club World Cup, Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League and won’t even be playing in Europe next season. This is […]
It is safe to say that most Chelsea fans are looking forward to the end of the season. What is ahead feels a lot more promising than what we are leaving behind. The 25/26 campaign was another one to forget. But supporters will be hoping that it ends up showing BlueCo the need to change […]
