Let’s take a look at my all-time Chelsea XI.
Please bear in mind whilst reading that I have had to play a couple of players slightly out of position. Also, I’m picking my team in relation to players performance during their prime, not necessarily in current form or towards the end of their career.
There are obviously a wide range of world-class players to choose from, meaning that not everyone was able to make the starting XI. I shall note the players that I feel deserve an honorable mention at the end. But for now, let’s take a quick look at my chosen formation.
Formation: 4-3-3
I was originally going to choose 4-2-3-1, but due to the number of incredible midfielders that the club has produced over the years, I had to go with 4-3-3.
So enough chit-chat, let’s take a look at who makes it into my all-time starting XI.
