Chelsea fans have voted for John Obi Mikel as their man of the match during the 1-0 away defeat to Swansea on Saturday.
After a poor performance in Wales, there weren’t many contenders for the man of the match, and we left it up to you to give your opinion.
We asked you, out of all of Chelsea’s starting XI and subs, who deserved to be named the man of the match. Mikel ran away with the lead with 38% of all votes.
Mikel has been a key part of the Chelsea squad since Guus Hiddink took over from Jose Mourinho.
His inclusion in the squad has made him even more of a cult hero among Chelsea fans with moments of magic in a Chelsea shirt, including his goal in Paris as well as his fancy footwork in the build up to Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s goal against Villa.
It was a straight battle between Mikel and Loftus-Cheek, who was substituted off in the second half for Falcao, much to the disappointment of the Chelsea supporters.
