Twitter reacts: Antonio Conte’s Italy ease past Belgium

Antonio Conte’s Italy side beat Marc Wilmots’ Belgium 2-0 in their Group E clash in the Euro’s last night, thanks to goals from Emanuele Giaccherini and Graziano Pelle.

There were numerous Chelsea fans watching this game to see their new manager’s football philosophy in action as the Italian continued to use a three at the back formation.

It was also a time for supporters, and Conte, to watch Chelsea stars in action, including Belgium captain Eden Hazard, and shot stopper Thibaut Courtois.

By the end of the game, it’s fair to say that the Chelsea faithful are excited for the era under Conte at Stamford Bridge. Other fans and journalists are starting to come to terms with just how good the Blues could potentially be under this manager next season!

Last night’s fixture was the first time for the Blues to watch their new manager in competitive action, and the list of Twitter users below signify that they can’t wait for the new season to get underway – and are hugely impressed by his work at the Italian National Team.
