Chelsea look set to complete the signing of Belgian striker, Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for a reported £33million. The new signing is likely to link up with his Chelsea teammates after he is finished representing his native Belgium at Euro 2016.
Batashuyai will be Antonio Conte’s first signing at Stamford Bridge, and despite not being in charge of the club yet, Conte is thought to have played a major role in securing the deal for the Blues.
We, at Read Chelsea, were keen to gauge the mood of the fans following the news of his imminent arrival at the club. Some were not so optimistic, but here are some of the responses.
Other fans also made their views on the news heard, with many pleased to hear that the striker had rejected moves to Tottenham and West Ham in order to secure a move to Stamford Bridge as he prepares to make an impact on the new era that is set to dawn at Chelsea.
@ReadChelseaFC excited, hope we still sign a few more! And Ofcourse Costa needs to stay. Batschuayi, Costa & Morata? ??
