Does Antonio Conte deserve a new contract?

Reports this week have suggested that Antonio Conte is set to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge, after a successful first season at the club.

Tutto Mercato Web, as quoted by the Express, claim the Italian will sign a new long-term contract imminently.

Chelsea find themselves eight points clear at the top of the Premier League and can see the finishing line in sight to another trophy with 13 games to go.

As well as the strong domestic campaign, the club remain in the FA Cup but face a tough test against Manchester United for a place in the semi-final.

The news has sparked a debate among Chelsea and football fans as to whether or not the Italian deserves a new contract or not.

While Chelsea have had a strong season, not all is said and done just yet, the Blues for now only have one hand on the title. It’s theirs to lose.
