Chelsea and Antonio Conte are heading towards the Premier League title in the Italian’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will now want to focus on strengthening the squad for next season’s Champions League campaign.
Conte will have some targets in mind and will know the key areas that need additions ahead of the extra fixture congestion that European football brings.
One market Conte could look to explore will be the Serie A. After his time managing in Italy, as well as the Italian national team, the Chelsea head coach will know all about who’s who in his home country.
The Blues do not currently have the squad to compete on all four fronts next season, so they need a number of additions in key positions.
With the summer transfer window approaching, we’ve picked out five players from the Serie A that Conte could target to improve his squad, ready for next season.
