Chelsea are unwilling to match Juventus’ £50m price tag on central defender Leonardo Bonucci.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea are wary of Bonucci’s age and are refusing to spend such a large sum, which would not see much re-sale value.
Bonucci turned 30 earlier this year but has developed a reputation for being one of Europe’s best central defenders over the last couple of seasons.
The Italian international was outstanding for Juventus in the Champions League and was a pivotal part of their Serie A winning campaign.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a new central defender this summer and appear to have turned their attentions to Antonio Rudiger – of Roma.
The German centre-back is reportedly on his way for a medical with the club this weekend as he looks to seal his move to Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte is said to be growing frustrated at the lack of transfer dealings at Chelsea.
