FA Cup Final – Chelsea v Manchester United: Key Battles

Chelsea will look to end a disappointing campaign on a high this Saturday as they face Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup.

The Blues missed out on top four on the final day as they were brushed aside by Newcastle United 3-0 and Liverpool dismantled Brighton 4-0.

A fifth-placed finish certainly won’t be good enough in the eyes of Blues owner Roman Abramovich, and speculation is rife that Saturday’s Wembley showpiece could be Antonio Conte’s last match in charge of the West London club.

Opponents Manchester United managed a second place finish in this campaign, although they finished a substantial 19 points behind champions Manchester City.

Chelsea and United picked up a win apiece in the Premier League fixtures between the clubs this season, with the Blues winning 1-0 in November and the Red Devils coming out on top in February.
