Norwich set to step up pursuit of Chelsea’s Kasey Palmer

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea’s Kasey Palmer could be set to move to Norwich, with the Canaries set to make a bid.

The England youth international spent last season on loan at Huddersfield Town and Derby County, a season on from helping the Terriers gain promotion to the Premier League.

Palmer is set to leave Chelsea on loan again to help further his development, with first-team opportunities unlikely with the Blues.

At the Rams, the midfielder made 16 appearances but only two of them were starts, with Gary Rowett’s side failing to gain promotion to the Premier League after being in a strong position.

Palmer scored twice on loan at the Rams but played a crucial role in helping Huddersfield gain promotion to the Premier League, scoring four times over 24 games to help the Terriers win the playoff final and gain promotion.

Palmer has been linked with another move to Derby, but Norwich look like they have made the first move for the Chelsea youngster.
