Barcelona launch third bid for Willian

Barcelona have bid a third time for Chelsea winger Willian, according to Sky Sports News.

The Catalan giants are believed to have offered around £55million for the Brazil international, who is a key target for the club this summer.

Having reportedly expressed a desire to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, it was reported earlier today that the 29-year old was closing in on a move to the Nou Camp.

While concerns had been raised about Barcelona’s inability to sign any more non-EU players, Philippe Coutinho, who is believed to have been crucial in convincing Willian of a move, is close to securing a Portuguese passport in order to free up a spot.

Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell the player, who they signed from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala for £30million in 2013, providing their asking price is met.
