Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount opened the scoring for Derby County against Reading on Friday night in the opening game of the new Championship season.
The 19-year old, who is on a season-long loan with the Rams, equalised for Derby after Jón Daði Böðvarsson scored the first goal of the season for Reading, powering a header past Scott Carson.

Reading goalkeeper Vito Mannone spilled Mount’s angled shot into his net, before Tom Lawrence’s looping header gave Derby a 94th minute winner and manager Frank Lampard his debut win in management.
Chelsea will have been delighted to see Mount on the scoresheet, with the midfielder having scored 14 goals and assisted nine for Vitesse Arnhem in the Dutch Eredivisie last season.
