Ampadu limps off during Wales duty

Chelsea starlet Ethan Ampadu has limped off during international duty with Wales, playing just 50 minutes against Spain.

The 18-year old defender-cum-midfielder has starred for Wales in the limited caps he has for his country, and he was impressing prior to his injury, even striking the post with a header.

While some reports are suggesting that Ampadu’s withdrawal was most likely just a precaution, Wales manager Ryan Giggs did look to be showing some concern for the talented player.

Ampadu has yet to make a competitive appearance for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri this season, however the Italian coach will be hoping that this latest issue won’t prove to be a major set-back.
