Gary Cahill having second thoughts about move to Italy

Gary Cahill is reportedly having second thoughts about a move to Italy with AC Milan, according to Calcio Mercato.

The defender’s contract is up in the Summer, and the former Bolton Wanderers man has struggled for game time this season.

Having racked up only 21 minutes of action so far this season, Cahill is looking for a way out of the Blues, after discovering he is not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans.

Milan have shown an interest in Cahill, but the defender is unsure as to whether to swap West London for the Lombard city.

At 33 years old Cahill is not getting any younger, and the defender is unsure as to whether he could make the switch easily at his age.

Cahill has had a successful career at the Blues, winning several honours such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, whilst also racking up an impressive 190 appearances since joining from Bolton back in 2012.
