Chelsea Player Ratings: MOL Vidi (A)

Chelsea clinched a draw in their final Europa League group stage match away at MOL Vidi on Thursday evening.

The Blues had already secured their passage through to the knockout rounds of the competition but were given a tough test by their Hungarian counterparts at the Ferencvaros Stadium.

Maurizio Sarri’s men took the lead on the half-hour mark as Willian arrowed a free-kick into the back of the net.

However, Chelsea found themselves on level terms with Vidi almost immediately afterwards as Ethan Ampadu could do little but turn the ball into his own net, making it 1-1.

It was a tight game throughout but the hosts took the lead in the 56th-minute as Loic Nego struck a volley well to put his side ahead.

The Blues fought back, though, and made it 2-2 in sensational fashion. Olivier Giroud stepped up and curled a free-kick expertly to claw his side back into the game.
