Sarri hopes Morata injury isn’t serious
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri believes that the injury sustained by Álvaro Morata against MOL Vidi is not serious.
The Blues drew 2-2 with the Hungarian side on Thursday in their last Europa League group stage game, and the Spanish striker left the field just before half-time with a suspected knee injury.
Despite landing awkwardly and looking uncomfortable, Sarri quickly updated fans after the game, saying he is hopeful that the problem isn’t a major one. As reported by West London Sport, Sarri said:
The first impression of the doctor is that it isn’t too bad. But we will have to check it tomorrow.
