Chelsea will be keen to advance through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup when they welcome Bournemouth to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Blues have been in strong form with rotated line-ups throughout the competition so far and head into the fixture following a win against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have struggled in recent times and are not on a particularly strong run of form. They were defeated 2-0 by Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.
Maurizio Sarri’s primary focus is likely to be placed upon Chelsea’s Premier League campaign. However, the Carabao Cup certainly presents an opportunity for the Italian to secure his first silverware as the club’s manager.
The boss faces plenty of selection dilemmas heading into the match, though, and will be forced to make a late decision on Eden Hazard’s involvement following recent injury concerns.
