Chelsea will be keen to get back to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend when they face Newcastle United.
The Blues advanced past Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup last Saturday but succumbed to a disappointing 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final in midweek.
Prior to this, though, they were left frustrated at Stamford Bridge as Southampton came away with a point.
Maurizio Sarri and his men will know that to continue their push for Champions League football this season, nothing less than a convincing win against Rafa Benitez’s side will do.
Newcastle have been in inconsistent form throughout the current campaign and will be looking to end a three-game run without a win in all competitions when they travel to West London.
Without further ado, take a look at how we expect Sarri to set his Chelsea side out against the Magpies on Saturday.
Kepa will, of course, keep his place in goal against Newcastle.
Azpilicueta will start and operate on the right-hand side of Sarri’s favoured back four.
In central defence, it is likely that Rudiger will retain his place in the starting line-up.
Alongside the German at the back, Luiz is poised to keep his place.
Alonso is in line to operate in his usual role on the left-hand side of the defence.
The metronome of this Chelsea side, Jorginho is set to pull the strings against Newcastle.
Kante is a mainstay in the starting line-up and will play just ahead of Jorginho in midfield.
Sarri is set to hand Kovacic the chance to prove his worth ahead of Ross Barkley.
Out on the right wing, it is likely that Willian will keep his place.
On the opposite flank, Pedro could be given an opportunity to shine against the Magpies.
Again operating in a central role in the front three, Hazard will start.
