With a transfer ban looming over their heads, Chelsea may need to make use out of the 41 players that they currently have out on loan.
There are a number of players that have already got fans excited for next season as they continue to impress away from the club.
On Wednesday, we asked you, Chelsea supporters, who you would most like to see back at the club next season as part of the first-team squad.
After thousands of votes, we’ve put together the results of the top 10 players that fans want to see at Stamford Bridge.
10: Tiemoue Bakayoko - 46%
Coming in at number 10 is the slightly surprising Tiemoue Bakayoko. Given his poor first season at the Bridge, maybe fans are still holding out hope for him in London.
9: Ola Aina - 50%
It would be fair to say that Ola Aina has been among the best young defenders in Serie A this season, showing Chelsea exactly what they’re missing out on. Unfortunately, it may be too late for him, with talk of a permanent exit in the summer.
8: Kylian Hazard - 53%
One of the biggest surprises in the top 10 comes in the form of Kylian Hazard. It remains to be seen just how good this young man is. Are fans hoping that a first-team spot could keep his brother Eden at Chelsea for a little longer?
7: Charly Musonda - 56%
There is still a lot of love from supporters for Charly Musonda. His development has stalled massively after a poor stint at Celtic and a huge injury that has derailed his loan move to Vitesse.
6: Michy Batshuayi - 66%
Chelsea’s struggles in the striker department since the loss of Diego Costa has left fans calling for Michy Batshuayi to be given a chance at Stamford Bridge. Whether or not that chance ever arrives, remains to be seen. If he impresses at Palace, he could break back into the club’s plans for next season.
5: Reece James - 77%
Reece James is catching a lot of attention with his performances with Wigan in the Championship. He’s already earning rave reviews and will no doubt attract interest over the summer if Chelsea refuse to give him a chance.
4: Kurt Zouma - 78%
Chelsea’s transfer ban could hand a Chelsea lifeline to French defender Kurt Zouma. He’s shown good signs of getting back to his best at Everton, but isn’t quite at the level he was at before his serious injury.
Coming in with the fourth highest amount of votes, Chelsea fans are still hoping he has a future with the Blues.
3: Tammy Abraham - 81%
One of the more obvious ones inside the top 10 is Tammy Abraham. Chelsea have spent millions upon millions on strikers in recent years, but Abraham is yet to get his chance.
Clearly, he is beyond good enough for the Championship, his loan spell with Villa has proved as much. He’s a player that could save the club a lot of money going forward and 81% of fans agree.
2: Mason Mount - 86%
Many fans would have expected to see this man come in at number one, but he’s second in the top 10.
Mount has been a key part of Frank Lampard’s Derby County side since joining on loan and it appears that life in the Championship is preparing him for his chance at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans will be hoping that he can finally break the trend at the club and cement a first-team place.
1: Christian Pulisic - 92%
Does this count? Yes, I guess we’ll take it. It’s hard to envisage a scenario where this man doesn’t feature for Chelsea next season, but his January signing has got fans excited for the summer.
Pulisic is a player that the club chased for so long and finally secured a deal during the winter market.
