Back in January, Chelsea signed Christian Pulisic on a deal which will see him join the club in the summer. However, since this the Blues have been hit with a transfer ban.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea’s appeal of the ban is being dealt with by FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
However, if the ban is delayed and Chelsea can make signings this summer then Sarri will look to strengthen his side ahead of the next campaign.
The Bundesliga is full of talented players that Sarri could look to bring to London, with quality defenders, midfield maestros and deadly finishers, the German league is a place Chelsea should have an eye on.
Chelsea have struggled to find a striker that can supply them with goals in recent times and have struggled defensively this year as well.
Here are few players that Chelsea could sign to help bolster the squad and have them challenging for silverware again next season.
The Frankfurt forward has 17 goals to his name this season. With him only being 21, he is a star for the future. There are believed to be lots of teams around Europe interested in his services.
Reus has been a dangerous player for years in the Bundesliga and when fully fit he is hard to stop. His pace, dribbling and shooting would be beneficial for Chelsea. Convincing him to leave Dortmund could be a task for the Blues, though.
Brandt has 10 assists under his belt and recently won the Bundesliga’s Player of the Month award. His passing is sublime and would add a more attacking threat into the Chelsea midfield.
Orban has been a rock at the back for RB Leipzig this season, scoring four goals as well. Orban would provide healthy competition for Chelsea’s other defenders. It could be an area that they need to strengthen in the summer.
Halstenberg has had a strong season for Leipzig this year playing as a left wing back with one goal and six assists to his name. Marcos Alonso has done little to impress this season.
