Chelsea scored a crucial away goal in their first leg Europa League semi-final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt, with the score finishing 1-1 at full-time.
The Bundesliga club’s star forward Luka Jovic opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, angling a header into the bottom corner from a deep cross on the left.
Chelsea got back on level terms shortly before half-time, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek setting up Pedro just inside the box to smash past Frankfurt ‘keeper Kevin Trapp.
The Blues will be buoyed to have kept the score so low, and will be positive ahead of next week’s tie at Stamford Bridge that they can progress to the final of the competition.
