Chelsea set to rival Spurs for Metz striker Habib Diallo
Chelsea are set to rival Spurs for Metz striker Habib Diallo, according to reports from Team Talk.
The striker, who has scored eight goals in 12 matches in the French top flight this season, is wanted by a host of Premier League clubs, with sources close to the player revealing that a bid may be on the way in January.
Several sides have watched the forward already this season, with Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, Leicester, Watford and Norwich all sending scouts to watch Diallo.
Diallo was prolific last season, scoring 26 goals in the French second tier as Metz earned promotion back to Ligue 1.
The Blues would have to cough up about £10 million to sign the striker, according to the report.

Chelsea may be scouting the striker, but it doesn’t seem likely that they would make a move soon.
The Blues do have a transfer ban at the minute, but they also have Tammy Abraham upfront who is leading the scoring charts for Chelsea.
Therefore, unless Olivier Giroud leaves the club soon, the Blues have no need for another forward.
