Roy Keane hails Tammy Abraham’s impact for club and country
Former Manchester United midfielder and pundit Roy Keane has praised attacker Tammy Abraham’s impact this season.
The striker scored his first international goal for England against Montenegro last night, continuing his great form since returning from his loan deal at Aston Villa last season.
Abraham leads the Blues scoring charts and Keane, speaking on ITV, praised the the attacker for his “outstanding” performances so far this season.
Outstanding. He’s gone out on loan, had to bide his time, and the key for any young player when you get an opportunity at a big club or an international, you’ve got to take it. He’s taken it. All credit to him.

Abraham has established himself as a top star for the Blues in only a short time, and looks to be Frank Lampard’s number one choice up top.
The attacker’s goal for England just shows how great his form is as of late, and shows that things can only get better for him.
