Tottenham stadium announcer warns Spurs fans for “racist behaviour”

Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur has been overshadowed by allegations of racism towards the Blues’ Antonio Rudiger.

Two first-half goals from Willian were enough to give Chelsea victory over the 10-men of Tottenham on Sunday, after Heung-Min Son was sent off for kicking out at Rudiger in the second-half.

However it was another incident involving Rudiger which is likely to dominate the post match headlines, with the stadium announcer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium making three announcements about “racist behaviour” coming from certain Spurs fans.

The fact that incidents like this are still occurring in this day and age is quite frankly ridiculous, and something needs to be done from the FA and the Premier League to stamp it out of the game.

Ultimately, Chelsea let the football on the pitch do the talking and Rudiger will have the last laugh after coming out on the winning side in what was an incredible display from the Blues.

matchday.
