Chelsea and Arsenal fans loving Fabregas’ latest dig at Spurs

Chelsea and Arsenal supporters have come together to heap praise on former midfielder Cesc Fabregas after he took a dig at Tottenham on social media.

The 32-year-old, who now plies his trade with AS Monaco, invited fans to ask him questions on Twitter during a Tuesday Q&A.

The Spaniard was asked to name his favourite ever goal scored in the top flight by the official Premier League account, which allowed Fabregas to produce a brilliant dig at Spurs.

He simply answered the question with ‘Every goal against Spurs will do.’

As to be expected, the midfielder’s reply went down a treat with these Chelsea and Arenal fans, who were quick to hail Fabregas following his savage response.

Fabregas is a two-time Premier League champion with Chelsea and his latest comments will only further his popularity at Stamford Bridge.

He left the club permanently 12 months ago, and really, the Blues haven’t found an ideal replacement for him.

Matteo Kovacic signed permanently from Real Madrid in the summer, however, the 25-year-old has failed to produce a series of consistent performances under Frank Lampard this season.

He’s scored once and provided three assists in 20 Premier League fixtures so far, via Whoscored.com

Chelsea are eligible to bring in additions to their squad this month, and who knows, we may see a midfielder with similar attributes to Fabregas arrive at Stamford Bridge to become one of Lampard’s first signings as boss.
