Many Tottenham Hotspur fans want to see Erik Lamela in the starting XI for this weekend’s clash with Chelsea.
The Argentine came on from the bench in midweek during the UEFA Champions League last 16 first-leg defeat to German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
Lamela has had his fair share of injuries during his Tottenham career and was recently struggling with a muscular problem.
However, fans of the north London club want him to be playing from the start for the crucial clash at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea emerged victorious in the first league encounter between the two teams earlier this season, with Willian netting two fine goals to secure the away win.
Lamela has 33 goals in his Tottenham career, but only four of them have come this season (Transfermarkt).
However, the fans appreciate that he brings energy and passion to the team which they love to see.
Many of them took to Twitter to show that they want the 27-year-old to start on Saturday, with some criticising Lucas Moura.
