WATCH: Lexi Potter makes it 3-0 as Chelsea run riot in Sydney

Lexi Potter has fired Chelsea Women into a 3-0 lead against the A-League Women All Stars as Sonia Bompastor’s side continued their dominant pre-season tour in Sydney.

The 19-year-old started Wednesday’s friendly on the bench after Lauren James was brought into the starting XI, with Chelsea making three changes from Saturday’s 7-0 victory over Auckland FC. Potter was introduced during the game and wasted little time making her mark.

Baltimore opened the scoring before Nüsken doubled Chelsea’s advantage, putting Bompastor’s side in a commanding position against the Australian All Stars.

Potter then made it 3-0 after coming into the action, providing another reminder of the depth available to Chelsea ahead of the new Women’s Super League campaign.

The midfielder is a product of the Chelsea academy and became increasingly involved with Bompastor’s senior squad last season. Chelsea’s official profile lists Potter as an England youth international, while the club included her in the 26-player squad for the tour of New Zealand and Australia.

Chelsea are using the meeting with the A-League All Stars as their final match of the Australasian tour before returning home to continue preparations for the new season.
