Chelsea reportedly retain an interest in Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni as Xabi Alonso continues to shape his defensive options.
The Blues were among the clubs to show interest in Bastoni during the summer and remain admirers of the Italy international.
According to TEAMtalk, Inter valued Bastoni at close to £70million when Barcelona explored a move earlier this year.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are all said to remain interested.

The report claims intermediaries have also informed interested Premier League clubs that Bastoni would be open to a move to England.
That could become significant if Chelsea decide to strengthen their defence in 2027.
Bastoni’s experience in a back three would make him particularly interesting for Alonso, who has increasingly used that structure at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have already been linked with several centre-backs ahead of future windows.
The Blues reportedly remain interested in Giorgio Scalvini despite his new Atalanta contract, while Manchester City’s Abdukodir Khusanov is another defender being monitored.
There is currently no indication Chelsea have submitted an offer or opened negotiations for Bastoni.
Inter are also under no immediate pressure to sell, with the defender contracted until 2028.
For now, Chelsea’s position is one of continued interest rather than an active transfer push.
