Chelsea v Bournemouth: Kick-off time, TV details and how to follow

There will be no live UK television coverage of Chelsea’s return to Premier League action against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Xabi Alonso’s side host the Cherries at Stamford Bridge in a traditional 3pm kick-off, with the fixture falling within the Saturday afternoon broadcasting blackout.

That means supporters unable to attend will need to follow the match through other channels, rather than watching it live on Sky Sports or TNT Sports.

How to follow Chelsea v Bournemouth

Although the game will not be televised live in the UK, supporters can follow developments through the official Chelsea website and the Premier League website.

The Saturday 3pm blackout prevents live domestic television broadcasts during the restricted period, although overseas coverage may be available through broadcasters holding the relevant rights.

Highlights will be available after the match through the usual broadcast and digital channels, subject to their respective release schedules.

Chelsea will then turn their attention to a trip to Everton on Saturday, 17 October, with that fixture scheduled for a 12.30pm kick-off at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

For Alonso, the Bournemouth match provides the immediate opportunity to resume Chelsea’s domestic campaign following the international break.
