Four seasons into the BlueCo ownership, it is safe to say that their project has failed to meet expectations. Initially, it had been suggested that they would need four transfer windows to put together one of the best teams in European football. Twice that time has passed, and there are no signs that the Blues […]
It is Chelsea who need to strengthen their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window. But lately, the majority of the talk surrounding the club has been about potential departures. The likes of Enzo Fernandez, Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella have all been linked with moves away. It is not hard to see why. They […]
There are quite a few positions where Chelsea need to strengthen in the summer transfer window. The need for a centre-back has been clear all season. Hopefully, an experienced and proven addition will be made in the heart of defence. In midfield, a top signing would be necessary if Enzo Fernandez does end up leaving. […]
Throughout the season, it has felt like not everything is right with Cole Palmer. In fact, one could go back to the second half of the previous campaign for that matter. After starting brilliantly under Enzo Maresca, the Englishman lost steam midway through. And we have never really seen him at his best for Chelsea […]
The summer transfer window is still a couple of months away. Before that, Chelsea have a lot of work to do. They have booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals, which is a good chance at some silverware. Of course, the Blues have a poor record at Wembley in recent times. But even more […]
On the back of a four-game losing run, Chelsea needed a statement win against Port Vale. And the Blues delivered with a 7-0 victory over the League One side with six different goalscorers and an own goal to go with it. Reports first emerged in Argentina before the Champions League round of 16 second leg against PSG that there were chances that the midfielder could leave Chelsea in the summer. […]
Four years into the BlueCo project, Chelsea find themselves in the middle of another underwhelming season. They were knocked out of the Champions League in the round of 16, losing 8-2 to PSG. And they might not even make the competition next year, as they are currently out of the qualification spots. Hopes of making […]
Reports have emerged in Argentina recently that Chelsea have everything agreed to sign Valentin Barco in the summer. Such a move would be very much in line with the club’s policy of signing highly-rated youngsters. The Argentine international is 21 years old and already under the BlueCo umbrella at Strasbourg. Such a move would not […]
Over the last few weeks, there has been a ton of talk about Chelsea’s best players leaving the club. BlueCo’s model might not be built for sustainable success. But top stars want to compete for trophies on a constant basis. Naturally, some might feel that they need to depart in order to meet their goals. […]
After what has happened over the last few weeks, it feels like Enzo Fernandez has one foot out of the Stamford Bridge exit door already. It would be a surprise if he did not. The Argentine midfielder refused to rule out a move away from Chelsea when asked about it after the second leg against […]
This upcoming summer transfer window is going to be a big one for BlueCo. After four seasons and having spent more than a billion pounds, they have failed to take Chelsea forward. Naturally, questions have been raised about their transfer strategy. The management has overlooked the need for proven quality and experience, completely focusing on […]
